"My Bathroom Makeover"

I've been on a spending hiatus for a while now and quite honestly, I've actually gotten pretty used to it.  Not sure how long that's going to last, but for now I should probably be focused on the four clients I'm currently working with.  I've got my hands full.

I've decided that when I get back on the horse, the first thing I'm starting with is my master bath.

You may have noticed that these photos do not appear on the "My Home" page of the website.  Please know that it's not by accident.

I'm really thinking I'm going with pink and grey.  If you haven't noticed from the blog design and logos, pink and grey is probably my favorite color combination.

Here's my theoretical shopping list:

  • Shower curtain- Looking to get something grey and white.  Probably will have my seamstress make it though.  I'm not really sold on damask floral, maybe a Greek key, or trellis print.

  • Lighting- I appreciated your input on the light fixture.  You guys preferred the chandelier according to the feedback from my post on lighting, but I think I'm going to have to go with this one.  FYI, I'm one of those people who ask for opinions when I already know what I want.  :  )  One of my many flaws.

  • Rug- There are so many options available, that I'm really not sure where I want to go with the rug.  I want it to be very lush and comfy.  Maybe shag?

  • Mirror Update-  If you're not familiar with Mirror Mate, I highly recommend you check them out.  I'm looking to give my very basic mirror a nice black frame.  Like this one...

You'd be surprised how big of a difference it makes.

  • Vanity Seating- My current option isn't going to work, so I'm looking for something grey and I'm very partial to tufting.  I love this one because it's actually a "vanity" stool, but I'm not sure if the height will work.

  • Towel Storage Makeover- Funny enough, this is the exact night stand that I have in my bathroom currently.  I'm thinking of painting mine grey.  I like the color of this option, but I'm looking for a more glossy modern look, less shabby chic.

  • Art- I don't have a lot of space for artwork, but I need a little something.  Here are a few I like.

I like the vintage look of these.  I think they'd be cool matted and framed.

And how cute are these?

I know it's a lot of grey, but keep in mind that my walls are pink.
