I had a chance to visit a really cute furniture store in New Bern called Branches Furniture. It was filled with the most delightfully causal pieces of furniture.
These upholstered pieces scream comfy cozy.
I also loved the weathered look of these end tables.
And, although a boat coffee table is a little literal for me, but you got to admit that it's quite charming.
Unfortunately, I couldn't bring any new furniture home with me, but I was able to bring a little taste of the coast back.
Before I left, I picked up a new large glass bowl at Goodwill for $0.99. They always have such a great selection.

I knew I wanted to bring back some sand and shells for a little reminder of my trip, and although it's a bit late in the season to be adding summer accessories to my home...
Better late than never. Until next time....
