I'm back and for the life of me I can't figure out how it's possible for your vacation to literally fly by, but the work week seems to drag on forever. It just doesn't seem right.
It was a great week and so nice to have some time off. I spent most of it in my hometown (Gulfport, MS) with family......

These ottomans were $100 and 80% off! I passed because I was flying home, but at $20.00 I had to wipe away a tear as I walked away.

Once I returned, it was more friend time at one of my favorite local spots for great antiques....

While it was a laid back kind of week, I did manage to squeeze in a little design work. I'm about to begin work with a distance client who's looking to create a small den with a hint of "royal".

The vacation is over and it's back to the grind this week. I spent the majority of the day on Saturday with my intern Chelsea, working on DIY projects and prep for our weekend install for my first boy's room. It's going to be a long, hot week, but at least I rested up.
