This weekend I had a chance to stop in at the Habitat Restore. Now, first off you guys know how much I love Goodwill and one of the major reasons why is the pricing. But, don't be fooled, all thrift/resale stores are not created equally.
For example, I went in looking for a new oval mirror for my guest bathroom. I'd like to replace the plain Jane one I have. Wouldn't you know I saw the PERFECT one at Goodwill a few weeks ago for $12.99, but decided against it. Retail regret has officially set in.
Anywho, while checking out the mirror selection, I ran into this one..
Yeah, that's what I said too, "$75.00!!!" While the furniture and large decorative accessories were way overpriced, the building materials and smaller items were spot on and the selection wasn't bad either.
I picked up this glass globe for just $1.00
I've been thinking about changing the globe on my conversion pendant over the sink and I just can't justify the cost of this one that I love....

The one that I currently have has a yellow globe that is looking a little dated.
I simply changed out the glass shade and a few minute later...
Now if I can just figure out what to do with my window treatment here.
I also finally found one of these glass domed plates. I've been wanting one for a while. Something smaller than a cake stand, but large enough to place something decorative underneath.
I love the idea of adding succulents. I think I'll do that this Spring.

Lastly, I picked up this really cool basket. I have no idea what its' original use was, but I'm planning to use it for magazines. I think.
Any other suggestions?
