Project Sneak Peek!

On Saturday I have a big install with a repeat customer (check our the dining room in my portfolio).  After jazzing up the dining room, the homeowners wanted to give a facelift to the living room, kitchen, entry and powder bath.  While I don't share sourcing information for projects as a courtsey to my clients, I thought I'd give you a sneak peek of the direction we've headed for this project.  In the living room, the homeowner had a several green leather pieces that I needed to utilize.  I've attempted to minimize their impact with printed drapes and other accessories.

Here's a sampling.....

"If My Outfit Was a Room..."

Looks as if everyone is starting to introduce their Spring 2012 clothing lines and I'm really feeling all of the vibrant colors.  Additionally, I really like the look of the soft yellow that seems to also be pretty prevalent, especially paired with grey or khaki.

Although, it looks like I may not need to actually buy any.

I know, you're probably thinking, "I thought this was a design blog?".  But it actually got me thinking, if my outfit (and the one's I like) were a room, what would it look like?

Here's what I imagine....

I really love the look of this wallpaper.  It's a bit of a throwback, but fresh and modern at the same time.

I really like how the yellow acts as an accent here.

Wondering how you can add a little yellow to your space?  Here are a few options.

I'm in love with this fabric.  It even comes in a variety of colors.  This is definitely in my future.  I also love the fact that it's designed and made in Mississippi (my home state) by Premier Fabrics

So, if your outfit was a room, what would it look like?  Thing that make you go, "hmmmm?"
