"House Fun in the Summertime"

I'm finally recuperating from Saturday's installation.  It went really well and I think the results might be my favorite thus far.  I can't wait to show you guys the reveal! Coming later this week....

Not sure if it's the sweltering heat that has me held captive indoors or not, but I've been doing a number of small projects around my house lately. 

Last month, I purchased these awesome butterfly prints at the ICA Show for $5.00 each. 

I thought they'd be a cute addition to my guest bathroom that really needed a little refresher. 

Plus, I'm a sucker for a vintage print. 

That same day, I ran into a vendor that makes custom frames and mattes at the ICA show as well and found  great linen mattes.  At $6.00 each for a custom matte, they were a steal. 

The addition of a Family Dollar frame, yes Family Dollar (I'll tell you more later), and Presto!

I really like the result. 

Just goes to show you, small changes make a BIG difference.
