"Twist on Traditional Sneak Peek"

I'm getting pretty close to the long overdue installation of a family room project I've been working on.  I thought I'd share with you a little sneak peek.  I'm really loving the elements we've brought together for this space.  It think it's going to come together beautifully.

For a reminder on the general theme of the room, take a look back at THIS post.

I'm most excited about the tones and textures in the space. The use of warm textures and colors are going to make a very ordinary room extremely cozy and inviting.

The homeowner had the drapery made with my assistance and I really like the look of the inverted pleats she ultimately selected.

Design of the Week!

But by far the greatest transformation were the ottomans that I told you about HERE.  Mark of Baity's Custom Upholstery did a bang up job converting these dated storage ottomans to something fantastic!

Gotta love Craigslist!  How's this for being able to see the potential in a cast off? I love these and totally wish they were mine.

Added storage was a must in this project and these square ottomans provide an ample amount for kids toys, blankets, magazines, etc.

I'm extremely excited to finish and photograph this project.  Stay tuned....
