Sunburst Mirrors: The Look for Less

I am unequivocally in love with sunburst mirrors right now.  I'm even thinking of making my own fashioned out of a small round mirror and discarded silverware or tree bark, for my Principles and Elements of Design final project.  Besides, a sunburst mirror exhibits radial symmetry and that's a design principle, right?
Anyway, I thought I'd share one way to achieve the look for less.

$229.91 at Lamps Plus (38" diameter)

 Or

$21.77 at Target (23" diameter)

I don't know about you, but I'm thinking a few inches is probably not worth $208.14 for me.
