"Dwell with Goodwill"

I love a good deal!  I always have and I always will.  One of the places I love to shop is Goodwill.  I don't get to do it as often as I used to but when I have the time I love hitting the local Goodwills to see what treasures I can find.  I even incorporate some of them into my client projects.  I'm a firm believer that having a beautiful home doesn't have to cost a fortune.  I also love Goodwill's mission to....
I'm so excited to be partnering with them on a project for this spring.

We've asked the Goodwill fans to if they have any interior design dilemmas in their home?

You know, things like...
Don’t know how to style your living room coffee table? Looking for tips on what on-trend color to paint your dining room? Need help with how to decorate your screened porch for the warmer weather?

Well, we've collected their questions and I'll be helping readers solve those dilemmas each week in a Tell Dwell Tuesday post. (A bit of a throwback if you recall.)  My advice will be posted to the Goodwill blog on Tuesdays over the next few weeks, so be sure to subscribe and follow along on social media @GoodwillSP and @DwellByCheryl using the hashtag #TellDwellTuesdays!

In addition, join us for a free “Spruce Up for Spring” decorating class I'll be facilitating!  Bring your girlfriends for a Girls’ Night Out, or your spouse to learn new ideas to transform your shared home. The class will be hosted on Thursday, April 27 at 6 p.m. at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus (5301 Wilkinson Blvd, Charlotte, N.C. 28208).

I'll be offering advice on what’s trending and how to find the "good stuff", including identifying furniture with “good bones.”  I’ll share my tips for shopping thrift stores such as Goodwill – including the best times/frequency/locations to shop – and more. A signature “mocktail” and hors d’oeuvres will be provided, plus giveaways including a coupon to Goodwill's retail stores.

Space is limited, so RSVP now on Eventbrite at this link here. We hope to see you there!
