"Master Makeover: Week 4 and a Reveal Sneak Peek"

I couldn't let the work week end without stopping by to give you guys a final update on my Master Makeover.  I know you're probably wondering if I made my deadline and if so, how things turned out.  Well, I'm delighted to share that I somehow managed to transform my master bedroom in a matter of just 3 weeks.  I'm pretty impressed with myself.  However, that's not all.  I actually needed to complete the project so quickly because....(wait for it).....a nationally published magazine was coming to MY house to do a photo shoot! Yep. I KNOW!!!  I promise more details on that later.

In the meantime, here's how the project came to a climax.  Baity's Custom Upholstery did a great job pulling together my upholstered pieces.  No surprise there.  We ran into a little hiccup when I was informed that I was about 10 inches short on fabric for my ottomans.  I thought that might happen, so we made lemonade from a lemon situation.

On a hotel note pad I sketched (if you can call it that) a design that ended up being even better than the original plan.

Love when that happens. By Sunday evening all of the upholstered pieces were delivered and they did not disappoint.

Thought I was going to faint when I saw this beauty...

Hard to believe it started here and in my head...

I figured if I had a magazine coming, I should probably just go ahead and get some professional photos of my home made.  I should have those soon and will do a proper reveal, but until then, check out this sneak peek.

I can't tell you how obsessed I am with the result.  It is my new favorite space in my house.
