"An Air Plant for my Cloche"

Happy Friday everyone!  I'm gearing up for the ReStore Renew event in Hickory tomorrow.  I'm so excited.  Not sure if I'm more excited about the shopping or my presentation.  Awh shucks, we all KNOW it's the shopping.

I've been adding a few Spring touches to my home recently and early this week I bit the bullet and purchased an air plant.   West Elm had a huge assortment of them ranging from a few bucks to nearly $30.  I have this cloche that has been sitting empty for months.  I just couldn't decide what to put in it.

I'm told these air plants are easy, but I'll be the judge of that.  You're supposed to submerge them in water twice a week. Whatever that means.

I'm just still trying to figure out how my air plant is going to get any "air" enclosed under a glass dome.

I guess the good news is, the glass sort of distorts the view of the plant, so if it starts to die, maybe no one will notice.  Hehe!

I'll let you know how it goes.

Let me know how the air plant thing works out--I'm curious! They sound really no-fuss.

Also, I love the way your room looks! So many beautiful details.
