"Evolution of Style"

It really is amazing how much your style evolves over time. I was reminded yesterday by a comment one follower left about my color selection in the living room. It dawned on me that the red sofa that I have is something that I'd NEVER purchase today. But for most of us, getting all new furniture each time the style or our opinions change is just not an option. So, we're often forced to work with what we have.

Several years ago, my first home was featured in a local newspaper. Needless to say I was ecstatic. They wrote a really nice article and featured pictures of my home. You can read it here.

I'm a little embarrassed to show these pictures, nevertheless see if you can spot any of my current digs in the old pics.

I love that you shared these before and after pics! This is not the same home though, is it?? The outside of your house with that yellow door and ferns is SO adorable and welcoming! Love all of these pics, Cheryl. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Whitley. The "THEN" photos are my first place and the "NOW" photos are from my current home.

First, it's evident you've always had great taste and style. However, the depth of your home now is tremendous shows that you are truly a life learner and idea embracer. Most important point is that you still have the same wonderful smile!

Cheryl, what an evolution! I agree with April-you have clearly always had a sense of style and decorating sense but the maturity shows. I love it!
