Happy 4th of July !
I've had a number of individuals comment about being unsure of how to actually "follow" my blog.
"Following" simply means that you receive emails or alerts when new blog content is posted. This is not to be confused with viewing the blog via a link I've posted on Facebook or Twitter. The difference is, keeping up with my post on Facebook and/ Twitter leaves you subject to missing post if you happen to not be on Facebook or Twitter when the link is posted. By "following" the blog, you receive a personal message that will ensure that you don't miss a thing.
Why is "following" important? Well, eventually I'd like to solicit sponsors to my blog. Basically, retailers and other business who might be interested in marketing to the Dwell by Cheryl readers, would pay sponsorship fees to advertise on my site. Here's a good sample. (check out the right sidebar)
This is a goal of mine for the future, but in order to reach this goal I need a solid following. I've been told by so many of you that you enjoy my weekly posts, so I'm hoping that you'll subscribe to "follow" if you haven't already and that you'll tell your friends.

How to "follow"
Although there are several options, it's pretty simple. For those who are fairly new to the blogosphere, the simplest is an email subscription.
Step #1: Go to http://www.dwellbycheryl.com/ and enter your email.
Step #2: Check your email immediately.
Step #3: You should receive a confirmation email. Click on the link found in the email.
Note: Don't see the email? Check your Spam/Junk mail folder
Step #4: That's it, you're DONE!!
